LED 1 watt brooder attraction bulb. Now with LED this bulb has more light output than our previous 7-watt incandescent and only uses 1 WATT!!!! A low wattage light should be used to attract the baby chicks to the heating element, feed, and water. Red lights have been used for years and are still preferred by many breeders. Blue lights have been very popular in recent years. Low intensity white light has been shown to increase food conversion and does not cause added risk for pecking and is perfect to light coops. Connects to a standard size E27 US light socket. Poly globes make it safe to touch; does not put out heat and chickens will not break like glass bulbs.
